Our Twitter party on Oct 19 got everyone thinking about #ModestFashion! We asked whether there are any celebrities who care about modesty. People mentioned Mayim Bialik who now only wears modest clothes, as well as Jennifer Aniston and Julia Roberts who tend to dress a little more modestly than the rest. Someone also showed us some great modest looks in Zooey Deschanel’s Fabric of Life commercial.

We also chatted about modest wedding gowns. We commented on Michelle Dugger’s Vow Renewal dress. People thought it was much nicer than her original wedding dress. There were a few helpful suggestions of where to find modest wedding attire, including Totallymodest.com and Chatfields Boutique.

Lastly, we talked about how to wear modest clothes. One gal said, “I like layering with hoodies or polos!” Another tweeter agreed, saying, “I model modest fashion thru sophistication rather than simplicity. I do this thru layers.” Yet another gal said, “I like to spice things up with vintage accessories.”

And we all agreed with the fashionista who said, “I think modesty is a virtue. You can be modest and still be stylish.”
